OUMC Student Ministry 2010-11
Welcome students!
We are excited about the start of another academic year and the beginning of a new ministry start focused on encouraging college age students in their faith journey.
At Oxford United Methodist Church, our goal is to help students enrich their college experience and their lives by providing a strong, vibrant student ministry in which participants share a passionate, personal relationship with Christ and are motivated to live out God's mission in the world.
For many young adults, no other time in life is as critical as the college years, a time when they make choices and decisions that will affect the rest of their lives. OUMC Student Ministry is committed to:
- Spiritually renewing and strengthening student lives through vital, dynamic and inspiring worship.
- Creating fellowship where all students feel loved and valued and offering a place to belong and connect with others.
- Assisting and equipping students to discover and grow in Christian life through intentional faith forming practices.
- Accountability to put faith into action through Christ-centered sacrificial living and giving.
All of which come together to help students deepen their faith, share in Christ's love, and grow into the life God has intended.
